Tysus Jackson talks with Yasmine Arrington, Founder and Executive Director of ScholarCHIPS.  As a high school student, Yasmine could not find scholarships for college bound youth with an incarcerated parent.  She decided to do something about it!  Yasmine created ScholarCHIPS, a nonprofit providing scholarships, mentorship, and support to children with an incarcerated parents. 

 

In this persistent woman series, Tysus and Yasmine discuss growing up with an incarcerated parent and how ScholarCHIPS is filling the gap.
